Congratulations on your acceptance to The Boston Architectural College! We are looking forward to welcoming you to our campus this coming semester. The following information will help prepare you for
New Student Orientation and your matriculation to the BAC.

Enrollment

Upon admission to the BAC, students are given a deadline by which they must respond to confirm enrollment. Payment of the Intent to Register fee of $150 is required to hold a place in the next entering class and to sign up for orientation. Students may request an extension of their response date in writing to the Admission's Office. New students may enroll at the BAC on a full-time or part-time basis. Students seeking financial aid should consult with the Financial Aid Office regarding minimum credit requirements for aid eligibility.

Forms

New students are required to submit two forms prior to registration: 

Intent to Register Form: For domestic students | For international students
This reserves your spot in the incoming class. If you aren't planning to enroll in the upcoming semester, this form can also used to defer your acceptance.

Immunization Form

All students must submit this form prior to registration.

Orientation

You can RSVP for orientation when you submit your Intent to Register form. If you are an admitted student who has not yet registered for orientation, please email admissions@the-bac.edu to let us know you will attend.

Financial Aid

Be sure to apply for Financial Aid at fafsa.ed.gov. The sooner you apply, the sooner your financial aid package can be processed. Financial aid takes approximately two weeks to process.

Health Insurance

All undergraduate students registered in 6 or more credits and graduate students registered in 4.5 or more credits are required by the state of Massachusetts to have health insurance. The BAC automatically bills every student for health insurance coverage. If a student is currently covered under their own health insurance plan, they can waive the school's health insurance by submitting a waiver and providing proof of insurance at gallagherkoster.com/bac. If no action is taken, you will be automatically enrolled in the plan and will be responsible for payment of the fee. If a waiver cannot be submitted, the Health Insurance Fee must be paid.

Registration

Payment is due prior to registration. The amount of tuition is estimated and billed. Payment options can be found here. Once tuition is paid, you can register. Registrations will be completed at New Student Orientation. If you miss the tuition due date, a $150 Late Clearance Fee will be applied.

If you do not end up registering, all payments made will be refunded except for the Intent to Register Fee and the International Student Fee. Once you register, you will be held to the tuition refund policy.
