The BAC’s Faculty Innovation in Teaching and Learning NanoConference celebrates recent faculty innovations and showcases new methods for teaching and learning at the BAC. The conference is an immersive short-duration format. For two 3-hour windows, faculty members will present successes and innovations in their teaching and learning in remote, hybrid, and online modes. Click here to register.

BAC faculty have risen to new heights of design and architectural education and pedagogy during these past 18 months. Talks will include BAC faculty grant recipients’ reports on collaborations, newly adopted media and material technologies, and improved virtual presentations. We’ll hear about ideas for remote site visits and shared spaces and applied efforts towards a vibrant and inclusive learning community, where teaching and learning are central to connect with our students and our shared practice communities. Presentations will stem from studio, lectures, workshop, and asynchronous settings – from both experience and future imaginings. Plan to be part of a positive feedback loop for the BAC and greater design and architectural community on June 10th and 11th.

The NanoConference is sponsored in part by a grant from the Davis Educational Foundation. The grant was received from the Davis Educational Foundation established by Stanton and Elisabeth Davis after Mr. Davis’s retirement as chairman of Shaw’s Supermarkets, Inc. Click here to read more.
