BAC Hive Week
The Boston Architectural College's Hive Week is a dynamic series of design-focused events highlighting the vibrant network of BAC alumni, faculty, partners, and friends. We hope you can join us in Boston from April 8 - 10 for the BAC’s 2nd annual Hive Week - our own version of homecoming!
This celebration brings together alumni with faculty, students, partners, and friends through a series of events that showcase the creativity and vitality of the BAC alumni community. Throughout the week, the College will welcome alumni and friends from Boston and around the world to engage in conversations, connections, and experiences that embody the BAC’s spirit of design innovation and collaboration, both in person and virtually.

2026 Hive Week Events
We hope you can join us April 8-10, 2026, for the BAC’s Hive Week where community members worldwide come together for these flagship events, offering a unique opportunity for learning, inspiration, and celebration.
April 8
Celebrating Our Champions – All BAC supporters, fundholders, partners, and volunteers are invited to join a reception in gratitude of your partnership, while showcasing our incredible students and future designers.
2026 Alumni and Friends Awards Ceremony – Our community is invited to an annual celebration honoring distinguished alumni and friends for their achievements in the design community.
BAC Talks 2026: Day I – The BAC is hosting a two-day alumni-focused symposium bringing the design community together for in-depth discussions on relevant topics. With this year’s theme, ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation by Design”, we will be featuring a variety of keynotes, panel discussions, and intimate conversations. (April 8 is virtual.)
April 9
Lunch with President Daas and Faculty Leadership – We welcome alumni and friends for an opportunity to have conversations with BAC leadership, share stories, and reminisce while thinking about the future of design education.
BAC Talks 2026: Day II – The BAC is hosting a two-day alumni-focused symposium bringing the design community together for in-depth discussions on relevant topics. Hive Week Happy Hour – We will all celebrate the close of a full week of continued learning, engagement, and forging new connections.
April 10
Alumni Firm/Project Tours for Students – On April 10, alumni and partners who work or own firms in Boston are invited to host firm tours for our students for an opportunity for continued learning and networking.
