Veterans Benefits

The Boston Architectural College is proud to include a number of America’s veterans in our vibrant community of students. We offer veteran benefits for all undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as certificate programs.

How Do I Receive VA Benefits?

If you are new to the BAC, please complete the required forms on https://www.va.gov/education/how-to-apply/ to designate the BAC as the school you will be attending.

Once the VA has determined your educational benefits, you will need to submit this confirmation of eligibility, such as a Certificate of Eligibility or information from eBenefits, prior to being awarded VA education benefits.

Yellow Ribbon Program

The BAC is a proud participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which allows us to enter into an agreement with VA. We are able to fund tuition expenses that exceed the veteran student’s Post 9/11 GI Bill® benefits. Eligible students may receive additional grant funding to assist with tuition expenses in addition to their Post 9/11 GI Bill® benefits.

The BAC Yellow Ribbon funding is limited, and is available on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are interested in obtaining additional information, contact the Veterans Administration at 1-888-GI-BILL-1 (1.888.442.4551) to speak with a Veterans Benefits Counselor or go to https://benefits.va.gov/gibill/.

Changes to Your Enrollment

Veterans are required to notify their VA Certifying Official when there is a change in enrollment at any point during the academic year. In addition, anticipated practice credits reported on the enrollment certification but not earned will also require an adjustment to the enrollment certification. Note that a change in your enrollment status may change your benefits, and if the VA does not receive prompt notice of a change, you could be liable for an overpayment of benefits.
