For nearly two decades, Arlene has devoted her professional and personal life to
the education and development of young people, including her three children. She started in the classrooms as a volunteer parent assistant in the Boston Public School System, and later went on to become an employment consultant for individuals in
the deaf and hard of hearing community. In this role, Arlene advocated for equal access to employment opportunities for those underrepresented in corporate America, while concurrently educating employers of the specific needs of this sub-group.

Shortly after graduating from her American Sign Language Interpreter training program in 2008, Arlene served on the boards of Belmont Hill School and Beacon Academy as a Trustee. Upon completing her 5-year tenure, Arlene continues her service on the corporations of each respective school, in addition to supporting the students at Beacon Academy in the role of an Academic Coach.

Arlene graduated from Northeastern University where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship.
