Mike Andelman

Mike Andelman has over thirty years experience in HVAC systems and energy analysis using DOE-2, Power DOE, and eQUEST building energy simulation software.  Mike's most recent experience prior to the formation of Andelman and Lelek Engineering was at a leading Boston MEP firm, where he was a Senior Staff Engineer for the Facilities Group.  His duties there included training staff in the use of DOE2 based energy modeling programs.

Before that Mike worked as a senior engineer with a Boston based Engineering/Architecture firm, where he designed HVAC systems for a number of commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.  His early career included a position as Design Manager for Naval Facility Engineered Command, Northern Division where he was actively involved in energy conservation and solar in federal buildings projects. Over his thirty year career he has created or supervised the creation of hundreds of building energy models for utility incentive programs, LEED accreditation, and Federal and State energy programs.

He holds a PE license in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
