Paul Sullivan

Paul Sullivan is the president of R.W. Sullivan Engineering with over twenty years' experience in the design of Fire Protection, Plumbing, and HVAC Systems, as well as experience in Code Consulting.

From Jacksonville University, Mr. Sullivan received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics & Engineering. He also earned a second Bachelor of Science from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Civil Engineering, and finished with his Masters of Science in Fire Protection Engineering.

Not only is Mr. Sullivan a registered professional Fire Protection engineer in 24 states and a registered professional Mechanical engineer in Massachusetts, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Building Plans Examiner and Building Inspector in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, but he is also active in numerous professional associations and committees. Mr. Sullivan and his company support and organize events for several charitable organizations including: Make-A-Wish® Foundation for MA & RI; Children's Hospital Boston; Dana Farber; Project Place; Cradles to Crayons; One Fund Boston; Horizons for Homeless Children; and many others.

Mr. Sullivan recently joined the BAC committee for the rebuilding of sustainable communities after disasters. He also was an editor for the publication of Performance-Based Design of Structural Steel and Fire Conditions: A Calculation Methodology for the American Society of Civil Engineers. This book contains ASCE manuals and reports on Engineering Practice Number 114.
