Terence Duffy is a lifelong student of ornamental horticulture. Terry started working in a florist and nursery at age 12, and he has continued in the industry to date. After moving from Long Island, NY, to Rockport, MA in 1989, Terry opened a small flowershop and greenhouse operation, which he eventually moved into a full-service landscape service that included maintenance, design, and installation.

Terry earned his master's degree in landscape architecture in 2013. Currently, he is employed as the lead designer Weston Nurseries. He teaches a design class for the School of Landscape Architecture at The Boston Architectural College and serves as a design consultant in a rooftop garden planter system firm.
